Heritage-related Curriculum Development and Support
Natasha has been increasingly involved in heritage-related curriculum development. This work involves conceiving, writing, building and assembling curriculum content related to the culture and heritage of different Aboriginal groups. The projects that Natasha has been engaged with have been driven by First Nations and Inuit communities themselves who are working to provide curriculum and educational models that are relevant to and drawn from their individual histories and sources of knowledge. This work involves conducting research, writing historical vignettes, locating images and stories to suit the intended content. It may also involve the collection of stories, songs, and other content with Elders.
