Safety
- Safety is a priority for Ursus Heritage Consulting and integral to all field and laboratory operations
- All staff have WCB Level 1 First Aid training and carry Level 1 First Aid kits and SPOT tracking devices
- Archaeological Field staff are trained in Safe ATV and Snowmobile operation and Defensive Driving
- Archaeological Field staff have WHMIS and Bear Awareness training
- Personal Protective Equipment is provided to all staff as required for each work environment
- All staff perform daily tail gate meetings and safety check-ins during field operations
- Ursus is registered with the BC Forest Safety Council and on the way to SAFE Certification
