We are continually updating our Covid-19 protocols to keep everyone safe in the field, office, and lab spaces. These protocols include a Safety Management Plan and Safe Work Procedures which we share with our partners and clients. 

All field staff have WCB Level 1 First Aid training and carry Level 1 First Aid kits and SPOT tracking devices. Personal Protective Equipment is provided to all staff as required for each work environment

Archaeological Field staff are trained in Safe ATV, UTV, and Snowmobile operation and Defensive Driving, and have WHMIS and Bear Awareness training. 

All staff perform daily tail gate meetings and safety check-ins during field operations

Ursus is registered with the BC Forest Safety Council and has SAFE Certification
